When you apply to or participate in The Miccoli Group Affiliate Program, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your payment email address
• Information about your promotion platforms (optional)
• Click and referral tracking data associated with your referral link
• IP address and browser information logged when your referral link is used

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Process and manage your affiliate account
• Track referral clicks and calculate commissions
• Send you commission notifications and payout confirmations
• Communicate with you about the Program
• Detect and prevent fraud

3. Data Storage

Your information is stored in JSON files on our secured server hosted by Hostinger. We do not use third-party databases or analytics platforms. Access is restricted to authorized administrators only.

4. Cookies

We use a single cookie (miccoli_ref) to track referrals for commission purposes. This cookie stores only your referral code and expires after 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or to process your payments via your chosen payment method (Stripe, Square, or e-transfer).

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing affiliate@themiccoligroup.com. Deletion of your account will result in forfeiture of any unclaimed commissions.

7. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard bcrypt hashing. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.

8. Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and applicable Canadian federal privacy law (PIPEDA).
